On New Year’s Day, we’ll welcome Phoenix the Budweiser Clydesdale to The Wharf. The iconic Clydesdales have been an American tradition since 1933, when Budweiser first introduced them after the repeal of Prohibition. You’ve seen them on TV, in holiday commercials, and even in Presidential inauguration parades. Now, you can meet one of these very special horses in person.
Phoenix will make his way from Seventh Street Park, with stops at Anchor and Kirwan’s Irish Pub, before settling in at District Pier. Bring your camera to snap a pic—and then enjoy some Budweiser specials at both Anchor Marina and Ship Store and Kirwan’s as you toast to the New Year.
