Come to The Wharf for free themed dance nights with live music on select Saturday's in June, July, and August at 7pm. Each night will feature a different style of music and dancing.

2026 Lineup

On select nights throughout the summer, meet us on either Transit Pier or District Pier at The Wharf to enjoy free dance nights with dance instructors and live music. Stay tuned for 2026 dance events!

Event Details

  • Saturday Night Dancing in June, July and August takes place at Transit Pier at The Wharf (970 Wharf Street SW, Washington, DC 20024). Learn more about different ways to Get to The Wharf.
  • Dancing begins at 7:00pm, followed by open dancing.
  • This event is family-friendly—all ages are welcome. You must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
  • Waterside bar Cantina Bambina serves up cold Pacifico and mixed drinks throughout the event. Outside drinks are not allowed.
  • In the event of inclement weather, event status updates will be posted on The Wharf's Facebook page.
