Dockmaster Building

Surrounded by water for exquisite 270-degree views of the Washington Channel, cherry blossom trees, and more, the Dockmaster Building is as intimate as it is immaculate. Resting at the end of the 450-foot District Pier, this indoor/outdoor space offers guests the perfect mix of excitement, access, and exclusivity. The two-story glass building features 2,000 square feet of rentable space with a capacity of 140 standing and 100 seated. The first-floor Conference Room offers direct access to a waterfront overlook, while the second-floor Dockmaster Room has a wrap-around balcony and canopy overhang in addition to floor-to-ceiling windows.

District Pier

Reaching 450 feet into the Washington Channel, District Pier is one of The Wharf’s central outdoor gathering places, playing host to exciting regional festivals, international celebrations, and whimsical holiday happenings. You can reserve the entire pier—8,000 square feet of rentable outdoor space with a capacity of 800 standing—or only a portion of it for private events of all kinds.

Transit Pier

Bustling with activity, the Transit Pier allows visitors to feel a part of the action at The Wharf. Perfect for celebrations and for lovers of the outdoors, this high-energy space offers 7,000 square feet of tentable outdoor space with a capacity of 700 standing, water views on three sides, and easy access to our amphitheater, café, The Anthem, as well our water taxi and shuttle.

7th Street Park

The Wharf’s largest naturally shaded space, 7th Street Park draws on both the energy of The Wharf and the serenity of the water. Situated as the area’s village green with 10,000 square feet of rentable outdoor space and a capacity of 150 standing, 7th Street Park offers your guests room to move and beautiful views of the waterfront as well as the activities on Recreation Pier.

Recreation Pier

Extending gracefully from 7th Street Park about 400 feet into the Washington Channel, Recreation Pier is the place for outdoor gatherings and events with direct access to the water. Here, your guests can go kayaking or paddleboarding, dangle their feet into the water, sit by a roaring fire pit, or enjoy a playful moment on the swings that dot the pier. You’ll enjoy direct views of the waterfront, the Capital Yacht Club, and the Gangplank Marina.
