Thank you for your interest in filming at The Wharf. We love to host beautiful moments, from engagement photos to commercial productions and movie scenes.
The Wharf is an active neighborhood with year-round public and private events. Before any type of filming at The Wharf, you must submit a Photography/Videography Request.
Requests for press photography and personal photography (such as an engagement photoshoot) which utilize minimal equipment and do not disrupt Wharf events, streets, or businesses will often be quickly approved by The Wharf Community Association.
All photos and videos intended for editorial, commercial, television, or movie purposes require further permitting and payment of location fees. Funds go toward beautification and the year-round free and public events at The Wharf.

After submitting a photography/videography request, The Wharf Community Association, which manages all outdoor areas at The Wharf, will process the permit and determine the necessary levels of logistical planning. Permit processing time may range from a few days to a few weeks. Please be as detailed as possible on the permit application to expedite the review process.
Some shoots may require logistical planning calls before the permit can be approved. In these cases, The Wharf Community Association will contact the applicant to set up the call. If your shoot has an indoor component, The Wharf Community Association can assist with the necessary introductions to businesses.
Upon filming approval, The Wharf requires proof of liability insurance. District Wharf reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to film on its premises.
