Water Taxi Now Open for 2018

If you’re checking out the region’s waterfront destinations, there’s no better way to get there than by water taxi. Come to The Wharf’s Transit Pier to catch a ride to Georgetown in DC, Old Town Alexandria in Virginia, and National Harbor in Maryland—and enjoy the scenic views of the nation’s capital from the Potomac. The water taxi service is ont of the quickest and most eco-friendly means of navigating the Washington, D.C. area. Brand new high-speed, low-wake vessels operate daily. Ticket prices start at $10 for adults and $7 for children (one way). Annual passes are $175. For more information and full schedule details, visit here.

Visit the Fish Market

Enjoy the freshest fish from one of the country’s oldest fish markets. Oysters on the half shell. Blue crabs by the bushel. Whole fishes caught that morning. And a low-key atmosphere that makes everything taste even better. Stop by for the food or the fishmongers—the Municipal Fish Market never disappoints.
