Lucky Buns
Lucky Buns is bringing their popular DC burger joint to The Wharf with a menu featuring burgers and chicken sandwiches bursting with worldwide flavor.
Lucky Buns—a name inspired by the Maneki-neko (the beloved Japanese good luck cat figurine)—was created by Alex McCoy, acclaimed chef and Food Network personality. McCoy found culinary inspiration in Thailand and Australia, and has incorporated those regions' vibrant and flavorful flavors into every dish at the restaurant.
All of Lucky Buns' burgers are hand-formed Creekstone Beef, seasoned to order and cooked to perfection. They feature a range of hot chicken sandwiches, including one with a Thai chile spin on D.C.’s signature sweet and sour mumbo sauce. Any of the sandwiches can be transformed into a salad, and all of their pickles, sauces and spreads are made in house. Even their bread is freshly baked locally every day.
