Mexican
Mi Vida
As the culinary director and co-owner of Mi Vida, acclaimed chef Roberto Santibañez raises the bar for Mexican cuisine in Washington, DC, with a menu that is inspired by street food and traditional Mexican home cooking—presented in a modern, elevated way. This concept is created in partnership with KNEAD Hospitality + Design, envisioning a dining destination that infuses The Wharf’s industrial aesthetic with distinctive and historic Mexican décor, including a modern take on “Árbol de la Vida” (tree of life). The vibrant and dramatic setting features private dining rooms and waterfront patio seating.
Santibañez owns the renowned Fonda restaurant in New York City, sits on the board of advisors of the Latin Cuisines Council of the Culinary Institute of America, and frequently teaches classes on Mexican cuisine in both the US and Mexico.
Experience happy hour Monday - Friday from 11:30am-6:00pm at the bar and on the patio. Be sure to also visit the restaurant for Taco Tuesday's.
