Ever wondered what it’s like to live on a boat? Southwest DC’s colorful community of floating homes will open its doors to visitors on Saturday, October 5 for a fun day of touring. The self‐guided tour takes visitors into 23 of the most fun and unique homes in Washington DC. Owners and docents will be available to answer questions about the boat‐homes and the liveaboard lifestyle. This is the first time that the homes of the Wharf Marina have been open to the public since The Wharf opened and redefined the city's waterfront. The chance to tour this unique community is not to be missed and proceeds go to support local charities in Southwest DC. Tickets always sell out in advance, so don't delay. Learn more and get tickets at www.dchouseboat.org.
