Adaptive Skating Day at The Wharf Ice Rink

Join us for a special session of adaptive skating and more at The Wharf Ice Rink. This special session at the rink is designed to provide a fun experience on the ice for those that are more comfortable in a reduced stimulus setting or that may need additional support.

There will be ice skating, an activity station, a snack station (make your own trail mix), a calm down corner for anyone who need s to take a little break and a photo station with zamboni.

Wheelchairs and AFO's are welcome on the ice and The Wharf will have skates and skate aids available. Four Team USA skaters will be on hand to assist on and off the ice and have experience working with children with ASD, ADHD and Down's Syndrome.

Registration is $10 and provides admission for one child or adult and one parent, guardian or caregiver to join them on the ice.

Additional Information:

- The Wharf Ice Rink is ADA accessible and wheelchairs are permitted on the ice. There are restroom facilities immediately adjacent to the rink. The rink is an entirely outdoor experience, so please dress accordingly.
- Please note, that while we will make every attempt to accomodate the needs of our guests, this is not a therapeutic event and we will not be providing licensed care.
- All guests on the ice must agree to our standard waiver of liability, distributed on your wristband at check in.
