Visit our restaurants’ outdoor tents and dining halls for German inspired fare and Sam Adams Octoberfest bier. Don’t miss the fresh pretzel cart in District Square!

Join the online costume contest by posting photos of your trachten (German clothing) on IG using #wharfdc for a chance to win a beautifully crafted Sam Adams Festival Stein.

Compete in a stein hoisting competition from your table at Kirwan's Irish Pub (2pm), Cantina Bambina and Pearl Street Warehouse (3pm), and Kaliwa and Canopy Central (4pm).

Walk your dachshund (costumes encouraged!) to Camp Wharf at the Firepit for a special doggy treat.

Kith/Kin – Offering a Butcher Platter with bratwurst, knackwurst, sauerkraut, German potato salad, "Laugen" pretzels, mustard, and horseradish cream. In addition, offering dessert of warm apfelstrudel with vanilla cinnamon anglaise or vanilla ice cream.

Mi Vida – Offering Octoberfest bier and Mexico City Hot Dog with bacon-wrapped franks, slaw, sweet potato fries, and chipotle ketchup.

Pearl Street Warehouse – Offering bratwurst, kraut, pretzels, beer cheese, and Octoberfest bier.

Twisted Pretzels – Visit District Square for an authentic Oktoberfest style pretzel from the Twisted Pretzel cart.

Praline Bakery – Offering takeout German Chocolate Cupcakes and Black Forest Parfait.
In accordance with current COVID guidelines, visitors are encouraged to safely patronize the many restaurants and shops offering Oktoberfest specials, while enjoying festive Bavarian decorations along the waterfront. There will be no dachshund dash or group activities this year.
Per Mayor Bowser’s order, physical distancing and masks are required in public at all times, unless eating. All ages welcome.
