A. Market Plaza, Market Square, and Market Pier
Adjacent to the Municipal Fish Market, this outdoor space offers a wide variety of market goods and culinary sensations—always fresh and seasonal. Market Pier offers outdoor seating for enjoying the fresh offerings from the Fish Market and nearby casual restaurants, and a great place to take in the bustling market and river environments.

B. Blair Alley
A charming plaza with a water overlook and an iconic fountain dedicated to Blair Phillips, a young architect who worked on The Wharf project, and died in a tragic skiing accident.  

C. Transit Pier
This is where The Wharf comes alive with the energy of people coming and going via the water taxi, the thrum of waterside concerts on a floating stage, and the buzz of concertgoers outside The Anthem. It even features an ice rink in the winter.

D. District Square
The retail heart and soul of this one-of-a-kind waterfront neighborhood, with a collection of new boutiques and shops on all sides—and restaurants and cafes for when you need to reenergize. Also home to the District Square water fountain, an iconic backdrop for many photos at The Wharf.

E. District Pier & Dockmaster Building
A dramatic outdoor public event space, coming to life with festivals, performances, and occasionally, visting tall ships. The Dockmaster Building at the end of the pier features a more intimate indoor over-water event space with 270-degree views of the water and monuments. Both spaces are available for rental.

F. Maine Avenue
Our lively neighborhood boulevard featuring eateries and services for residents and visitors alike, plus a dedicated cycle track and Capital Bikeshare stations for bicyclists, and bus stops for the Southwest Neighborhood Shuttle.

G. Sutton Square
An elegantly landscaped waterside arrival with the Capital Yacht Club’s luminous new clubhouse overlooking the boat slips.

H. Pearl Street
The neighborhood's live entertainment hub, with a wide variety of music and dining choices for an experience that stimulates all your senses—and lets you savor all the unique flavors and sounds of The Wharf.

I. Wharf Street
A promenade of restaurants and cafés overlooking the Washington Channel for a waterfront dining experience you won’t find anywhere else.

J. Recreation Pier
The launch pad for relaxed waterfront activities, with kayak and paddleboard rentals, workouts, and swings dotting the pier, where you can while away a sunny afternoon or watch a stunning sunset.

K. 7th Street Park & Sprayground
The lush, green entrance to The Wharf from 7th Street invites you to come for a picnic, frolic in the splash pad, or just sit back and take in the view. 

L. The Oculus
A copse of trees and boutique shops and restaurants framed by an artfully-designed striking glass bridge stretching between two buildings.

M. The Grove
Outdoor waterview deck featuring a fire pit, a small busker stage to showcase local talent and shared space for al fresco dining.

N. The Green
A 1.5-acre park offering quiet seating areas, shade trees and elegant landscaping, tied together by a centerpiece fountain.

O. M Street Landing
Outdoor, waterfront space perfect for lounging in the sunshine with views of the Wharf Marina.

P. The Terrace
Outdoor space that offers areas for relaxation or for private events and waterfront wedding rentals.

Q. Waterfront Park
A 3.5-acre park right at the edge of The Wharf, with rows of willow trees, shady trellises and gravel bocce courts.
